PSALM 23

by CYNTHIA
(JAMAICA)

A shepherd takes care of his sheep with his life. He puts himself in danger to protect his sheep; and, so this remind me whatever situation I am in my shepherd is there. Whatever I can't manage he takes over. All he wants me to do is obey him and give praise to him. So I trust my shepherd\JESUS\ WITH MY LIFE.

23 Psalm

by Violet
(London, England)

One day I was walking through the park; on reaching the gate to take me out on the main road I saw this scary looking man. He stretched both hands across the gate leaving me no where to pass. All dressed up in high heels and too far to run back, I said Lord please help me. The 23rd Psalm came to mind; I started to repeat the 23 Psalm like crazy. The man put down his hands and walked pass me like i was not there. I said thank you Jesus, and went on my way all in one piece. On the same week I read the news paper only to see he was a mad man who escaped from the mental home. This is why I love this psalm and it is a very special tome.

Psalm 23

by Renois Briana
(Brooklyn NY)

It is very common and is an easy, simple prayer to remenber. It shows what being a Christian is all about which is to dwell in the house of the Lord for eternity. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. Amen.

Psalm 23

by Anonymous

Psalm 23 gives me hope in times of sorrow, or when I'm not sure of what to do in a situation in my life. This psalm gives me strength when I feel I'm lacking in an area. This psalm also gives me inspiration for knowing I can have peace in my life, because God walks with me.This psalm lifts my spirit. This psalm is read a lot at funerals, however, it can be read daily in our devotional time.

PSALM 23

by BERNADETTE TAWANA
(GABORONE BOTSWANA)

PSALM 23 RELIEVES ME FROM FEAR AND ANGER, ESPECIALLY WHEN
I AM GOING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES, IT SOOTHES AWAY MY
INCOMPLETENESS ABOUT MY FAITH ......I FEEL I HAVE A REAL FATHER , A SHEPARD WHO WILL TAKE CONTROL OF EVERY
MOMENT OR CIRCUMSTANCE...MY LATE FATHER USED TO RECITE
IT DURING CELEBRATIONS AND ANY OCCASSION; IT WAS HIS PASSPORT....IT IS WRITTEN - ENGRAVED ON HIS GRAVE TOMBSTONE.

WHEN I AM HAPPY .I....RECITE .....IT. GIVES ME A LOT OF STRENGTH NOT TO FEAR ANY THING....IT RESTORES MY MEMORY AND FRESHENS MY BODY AND LIFTS MY SPIRIT VERY VERY HIGH.

THE LAST THING IS THAT I ONLY SEEK TO FORGIVE THOSE
WHO HAVE FORSAKEN ME, AND ASK GOD TO FORGIVE ME OF ALL THE WRONGS AND BAD THINGS I HAVE.

It makes me feel like a sheep...with YAHWEH as Shepherd. Did He not say, "I am a Good Shepherd"?

My Favorite Psalm is the 23rd

by Elizabeth G
(Jacksonville, Fl)

This Psalm is so special it tells of the love that the lord has for us. The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want...that in it self is love. He does not want us to long for anything. He is our provider, our protector, our all and all; now that's Love.

Psalm 23

by Sherry K
(Little Rock, Arkansas)

Psalm 23 is important to me because Jesus tells us - THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD. I SHALL NOT WANT. AND YEA THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL FOR THOU ART WITH ME. AND ESPECIALLY I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER. THIS IS A VERY COMFORTING PSALM BECAUSE IF YOU REMAIN FAITHFUL TO THE LORD YOU WILL SURELY BE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN WHEN YOU LEAVE THIS EARTH.
