Psalms and Affirmations - the Secret for Daily Positive Thinking and LivingIt should be no secret that the Psalms found in The Holy Bible are filled with affirmations that can inspire us to be positive in our thinking, and to live positive lives. Psalms. The Book of Psalms. The Hymns of Israel. The Psalms of David. No matter how we refer to the Psalms, we love them. They can be the secret to living a life of purpose and fulfillment. Loved by people from all around the world, the psalms comprise a book of books filled with positive affirmations. Whether it’s Psalm 83, Psalm 23, Psalm 91, the 23rd Psalm, Psalm One, Psalm 27, Psalm 51, Psalm 139, Psalm 121, Psalm 100, Psalm 37, Psalm 1, Psalm 119, or Psalm 150, we all have our favorites.
From the Psalms we can find the affirmations we need to live a life of purpose and reflection: one that includes ample time for meditation. Here's the secret. Meditating on the Psalms can help us daily to have whatever we need to “stay in the present -- in the moment,” and to be prepared for whatever we may encounter on any given day. Faith in times of disbelief. Trust in times of disobedience. Wisdom in times of confusion. Forgiveness in times of trespassing. Inner peace in times of turmoil and distress. Joy in times of sorrow. Comfort in times of lost. Strength in times of weakness. Victory in times of defeat. Whatever you need can be found in the Psalms. This site will provide you with a solid starting point for identifying, in the Psalms, daily positive affirmations for your life. You can begin today to claim these affirmations for yourself, and for your family. Take time to reflect on them. Walk confidently, for your every need has been met. In the summer of 2001 I searched for a book, a web site, or other resource that would give me immediate access to affirmations in the Book of Psalms. I found nothing. So, I decided to compile my own. I am sharing with you my compilation of affirmations gleaned over a five-year period. My list is not conclusive. There may be many other affirmations to which your eyes may be opened. If so, praise God! While here you may learn many things about the Book of Psalms; however, this site is not meant to be an online Bible study guide or course. I don't have any biblical degrees. What I do have is a passion for God’s word, and its applications for life.

The Bible’s King James Version is the text used. Throughout the site there are links to other versions of the Bible.
